Now I'd admit that I haven't completed the game but this trailer for the sequel has me excited. First off, I love the idea that Mickey and Oswald work together. Awesome!
I really love the idea of having these two Disney characters working together and making Oswald a playable character is a step in the right direction in re introducing Oswald to the general public and just maybe, this'll work in getting the older shorts shown. I don't know how but I love the fact that Oswald is getting more exposure and I love the idea of making him playable. Also from the looks of the trailer, it seems like it is a combo of magic and science. Because Mickey has the brush and Oswald.
Now it's also been stated that musical numbers will be incorporated. I don't know how that is going to work but I have faith in Warren Specter and that it'll also have voice acting. Now I know that the first one didn't have that I think that could turn out okay because I mean they'll more than likely get Bret Iwan to voice Mickey and even though I don't watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the little bit I've heard of him there, he makes a decent Mickey and really, his first time voicing Mickey was in one of the Kingdom Hearts games. I believe it was Birth By Sleep, so I don't see to much trouble there.
Though that does beg the question, should Oswald be voiced? I mean he has never had a voice before because most of his life, he's been silent. I don't know, it just seems like it'd be off putting if he was given a voice. Though I'm happy to return to Wasteland and fight with Mickey and Oswald and according to Warren Specter, there will be new lands and rides to explore. Cool! It's also been said that an earthquake has caused the look of Wasteland to change.
Now it hasn't been confirmed yet but I'm hoping and pretty sure that the cut scenes which were gorgeous to look at.

Also, if there is one thing that I'm really looking forward to is the soundtrack because I loved the first soundtrack and it is the first and only video game soundtrack I ever bought. There are so many things to be excited about and I've covered the little bits I'm excited about and let's not forget the biggest thing, it'll be available multiple consoles other than the Wii. The first game is something that I love and I mean my parents got me the Collector's Edition for Christmas which came with a really cool DVD with the making of and shorts that were levels in the game along with a very nice figurine.
As I said, I rarely get excited about games but I can't wait to pick this one up. What are your thoughts on this? Tell me in the comments. Peace!
You haven't beaten Epic Mickey. The ending is awesome!!!! Well I should say endings!!!! But Warren Spector was interviewed and said Frank Welker would voice Oswald. Also you get to go underneath Wasteland and search the catacombs because the thinner is no longer there. I also can't wait for the game too. Also Video Game Music is extremely underrated and I would highly suggest buying more video game osts it worked wonders for my appreciation of music in general.
