Music Fridays # 81: Scouting Week

Hello and welcome to the final article of Scouting Week.   Today, I'll be taking a look at 3 songs that have some sort of connection with Disney Scouting. Let's begin.

Follow Me, Boys

This song is from the film of the same name and thus why, I didn't cover it there.   I like this song and I really do believe that it captures the spirit of Scouting quite well.   It's just saying not to give up and keep pushing forward, which is something Scouting always  tries to teach.

The Fireside Girls








All this week, I've been focusing on the male scouts of Disney as well, I was a Boy Scout but I knew for this Music Fridays, I had to include this song. Sure, it's short but hey even say that and Isabella uses it to great effect to remind the girls not to give up on their mission because scouts don't give up.





The Ellie Badge







I'll admit I had the hardest time choosing at least 3 songs for this theme but my head went to Up when thinking of another one to include and there I found The Ellie Badge.   Now I'll admit, I probably like the scene better then the score but in a way, the score reminds of Ellie and I think it also perfectly captures the relationship that Carl and Russell now have as Carl is like a surrogate grandfather to Russell.   Now, here's that scene.
