Top 6 Disney World/Disneyland Commercials from the '90s

I told you that we would be taking a look at '90s commercials. What you didn't expect this so soon? Well, here we go. Please note that majority of these are Disney World as those are the morememorable '90s commercials with 3 6 being a commercial for both Disneyland and Disney World

6. Wake Up Call




This one is so cute from the get go starting with the wake up call from Goofy. That is awesome by the way and man this girl is luck that her wake up call wasn't from Donald Duck. I feel sorry for the poor sap who got a Donald Duck wakp up call. Out of all the commercials on this list, I think this little girl has the best interaction with all of the characters.  Especially when talking to one of the Dwarfs. Of course this commercial closes with the little girl getting to hug Mickey. By the way those Mickey moment while awesome are never that awesome.  Now while I said this little girl had the best interaction with the characters,I'm only putting at # 6 because I find it to be the one I remember the least.



5.   Imagine Yourself Here



Man, Disney World sure had a thing for putting Mickey on top of that sphere at EPCOT. Both countdowns have now featured a commercial where is on that. Anyways with that out of the way, again this commercial is simple and it is trying to entice the watcher to come to Disney World and I like how use the word imagine a lot in this one. Not bad. It's all right.


4..  The Most Unbeleiveable Vactation on Earth




This one is pretty awesome too. I like how they open with a shot of the earth and then go through all of the parks and saying what you can do at each and then ir comes and closes full circle with a shot of the globe again but at the end, it has Mouse Ears. Why not?  This one is great.


3.  "Fairy Tale" Tough Guy




Now this comes from 1999 and this one actually has a set story in it. Not bad at all. In it we see a young boy who  thinks he has to act tough and be a jerk but when his mom and dad take hime to Disney World, he goes back acting like their son and being a nice guy. Silly, sure but I but it. I'm just an old soul who beleives in the power of Disney Magic. Fun Fact: the narrator for this commercial was Jim Cummings. You may not know his name but he is the current voice for Pete and he also voiced Darkwing Duck.


2.  Voice of Experience



This has to be one of my favorite Disney World commercials. I love how the older brother is giving his little brother all this advice about what to do at Disney World and talking about how Goofy is bigger than he appears on TV. This kid apparently knows some other Disney World Essentials that I forgot to list.  Their not even going for three weeks but this kid wants to be ready and that makes sense to me.

1. Be Our Guest/Goodnight Mickey




During the '90s, Disney World used Be Our Guest in alot of their commercials. So I had trouble trying to find the right Be Our Guest commercial but this one takes the cake. This little boy is just so cute in this commercial and I love seeing his happiness and how excited he is.  Also, even though I know it's only for the commercial how cool would it have been at that age to go on a ride with your favorite Disney character. Of course, I don't think that would work too well for me with my favorite being Splash Mountian.  The other thing that gets me about this commercial is the very end when the little boys is hugging his stuffed Mickey under the covers and says "Goodnight Mickey".  Now if you may recall in a previous blog, I stated that I have my own stuffed Mickey and that scene just reminds me how much my Mickey means to me.
