Pegasus Vs. Maximus

Hello & welcome back. A while ago, I asked for suggestions for future Vs. and while I saw a lot of good ones. The one that truly stood out to me as being an awesome idea was Pegasus Vs. Maximus.  Now here are the categories that'll be using in judging these two noble steeds. Personality (Round 1), which one has the better personality.  Loyalty (Round 2), who's more loyal.  Interaction With Other Characters (Round 3),  who had the better interaction with the rest of the cast from their respective film.  Standout Moment (Round 4), kinda like Defining Moment for Main characters but here instead, which moment sticks out the most when I think of these characters. And finally The Film Factor (Final Round), who worked better in their respective film. With this out of the way, let's begin.

Personality (Round 1)

Pegasus 

The best way to describe Pegasus is to say that he's very loyal to Hercules.  That of course comes from the fact that he's known Herc all their lives. He may not be the brightest but he does have a big heart and does care for his friends through and through. 

Maximus

Max is just so funny, I love everything about him because he acts like a solider and takes everything so seriously. It's just so hysterical how devoted he is to his job.  He will not stop until he has succeeded. And that is what I love about him.  Tough call here as these two are great when it comes to personality but so vastly different.  It really comes down to whose personality I found more enjoyable and I think I have to go with Maximus. For that reason, Maximus is the winner.

Loyalty (Round 2)

Pegasus

Here with these characters, we are looking at loyalty in two different ways. Starting with Pegasus, as I said when talking about the personalities, he has always been loyal to Hercules and will always stand by his side.  Through thick and thin, Pegasus is there.

Maximus 

Max on the other hand at first starts out as a foe for Flynn Rider but over time, we do see some form of friendship but I'm not so sure that I'd call it being loyal. If anything Max is more loyal to his job and for the way, Max is presented in Tangled, that makes perfect sense.   I mean don't get me wrong over time, he does start to trust Rapunzel and Flynn but Pegasus had always been loyal to Hercules. Interaction With Other Characters (Round 3)

Pegasus 

Pegasus' interaction with the other characters is at best okay if a bit forgettable.  Which for his character is okay because while he was comic relief, he didn't need interaction with the other characters to be funny.  And to be honest, I can't recall much of it right now.   That says a lot. He's not a bad character.

Maximus

On the other hand, Max's interaction is part of the thing that makes him so great.  Seriously,  it is part of the reason, he's so entertaining.   I mean he's great by himself but his interaction with other characters such as Flynn is what makes him so great.  For that reason, I have to give this round to...

Standout Moment (Round 4)

Pegasus 

For me, Pegasus' standout moment has to be when he blows out Hades' hair. It is just so funny. It's a short moment and to the point, but I just think it is so humorous.

When it comes to Max, his standout moment for me has to be his duel with Flynn. It was just so hysterical watching these two fight and again seeing how seriously, Max took it was a delight. The Film Factor (The Final Round) 

Pegasus

Pegasus is an okay character but he does tend to be overshadowed by other characters in the film such Hercules and Meg.  Don't get me wrong, he's not bad but he doesn't really stick out.

Max on the other hand can steal any scene he is and be the star.  Though he never goes over his bounds.  So, he's perfect for that and for that reason, I think Max worked better in his respective film and for that reason, I have to give this round to...
