I have been blogging since November of 2010 and while I'm not as well known as some of the other bloggers, I feel that are some lessons that I have learned when it comes to the world of blogging. Today, I would like to share some of these lessons with you. This is not a countdown list but these will be numbered as to help keep track of them and by all means if you wish to start a blog, you can use this a guide.
1. Be Yourself
Now I have already covered this one when I did my top 6 Goofiest mistakes because when I first started I tried to emulate Doug and Linkara. Their style did not work for me, so I had to find a way that I could be myself while persenting my blog and that just what it was. With me, there is no character when you read A Look at Disney, everything single thing I say is my true opinion.
2. Don't Be Afriad to Be Open
This one goes along somewhat with Be Yourself but it is different. Be Yourself just means that be who you are but Don't Be afraid to Be Open means that don't be afraid to share your opinion or beleifs or your life because you can shun people if you put up a sheild. Don't be afraid write something very personal. One such example is you see I have seizures and I went ahead and wrote a blog about it. Now open you are is up to you but I find that by being open helps you build a connection with the readers. If you are curious, here is a link to that blog.

3. You Won't Always Get Comments
If you took the time to read that blog, you may have noticed that I did not get any comments on that blog but I'm okay with that. Look when you first start out not everyone is going to comment because they may not know what to say and your the new kid on the playground. It may take time before you actually get any comments. Even after you get some readers there will still be days that you won't get comments. This is also due in part to the time you post. Now this may sound silly but try avoiding during the middle of the day. Post either in the morning or in the afternoon as that is when you may get the best traffic of readers.
4. Stand By Your Blog
The last thing that I suggest is that you always have to stand by your blog and defend it. Because their may be people that are going to say that your blog isn't good while you should listen to them, if you think your blog is good, defend it it the comments and explain why you support your blog. Don't just say "I support my blog". You need to explain why you think your blog is good and never again to the people that say your blog isn't any so long as it what you wanted it to be.
There you go these are the lessons that I learned blogging and I hope that they can help anyone who wishes to start a new blog series.
