Take A Look at Disney

Seven Dwarfs May Soon Have a TV Show

No this is not a joke. It was announced that there plans for Grumpy, Dopey and the rest of the dwarfs to star in a TV series that would serve as a prequel series of sorts to the film, so no Snow White. It would air as part of the new Disney Junior line up. This is similiar to the show Jake and the Neverland Pirates which premiered on Valentine's Day earlier this year.

A show that I already have mixed feelings about. However there are two ways to look at this as in the case of you could look at it and think back to the Disney Afternoon shows which used classic characters perfectly or the direct-tovideo sequesls approach which butchered the characters.   I have three big issues with this proposed show. First this was Walt's first film and I feel as though that these characters should be off limits. Sceondly, the title is 7Ds. You could come up with an even dumber title and are they trying to make  the dwarves sound street.  Lastly, the creator of one of the worst Disney Channel cartoons to air is helming this show.   Noah Z. Jones, the creator of Fish Hooks, which in bad taste is up there with Brandy & Mr. Whiskers is apparently helming this show. I hate the antimation on that show and if he is in charge of this show, I'm afraid as to what the dwarves are going to look like.  There just better not be a rap version of Heigh-Ho as the theme song as that would break the last straw.

Why?
