Well, it looks as though, we've reached the final article of this week long look at One Saturday Morning. So won't you join me as I take a look at some of the themes from this block. Let's kick it off with...
Recess
This one is just a lot of fun and just like everything else from this group, nostalgic. The sounds of it are a lot of fun and they work with the scenes shown rather well. It's simple and upbeat but for this show it works. I think this is perhaps the best of the One Saturday Morning themes.
Pepper Ann
The best way to describe this one is as calling it quirky but that fits with this show as Pepper Ann is a show that is best described as being quirky. Personally, I'm not a big fan but it's okay and it does tie into the show very well but I don't think it's for me.
Mickey Mouse Works
This one is a lot for the imagery, I'm really glad I included it as it's been years since I've seen it and also I think if you listen closely you can hear some of the classic themes and that makes it all the better if I'm right. Now I'm not sure if I am but all the same, this one is a lot of fun.
The Weekenders
Once again this one is just a lot of fun but of course, I loved this show and I love the pauses in this song. Also gotta appreciate the fast pace of this song. It is a whole a lotta fun and add in that is Wayne Brady singing, I'm sold.
Well, I hope that you've enjoyed my look at these themes. Join me next time as I take a look at some Pooh Bear songs as part of my visit to the Hundred Acre Wood
