My Favorite Disney Stuffed Animals

It's no secret that I love Disney but I also have a bit of a soft spot for stuffed animals. I have plenty Disney stuffed animals. Today, I'm going to share with you some of my favorites. Now this won't be a Top 6 as I can't rate them. Instead I'll be going from newest to oldest.

Dumbo

Dumbo is the newest stuffed animal I got. I just got him a few weeks ago when my mom came home from a business trip to Chicago.  She knew that I had wanted a Dumbo stuffed animal since Christmas but I didn't get one and part of me can understand why I didn't get him then.  A few months before my mom left for her trip, I was at my local Disney store and I saw a Dumbo stuffed animal there but I didn't get him because I saw another stuffed animal that I liked even more.  This may sound odd but I really feel that they captured Dumbo's shy side with this stuffed animal. Please forgive the pictures as they aren't the greatest as I took the pictures with my phone.

Steamboat Willie Mickey

Now I'm a sucker for anything that is related to classic Disney. How much more classic can you get than Steamboat Willie?  As I said with Dumbo, the first time I saw Dumbo, another stuffed animal cuahgt my eye and that would be this one. Now I first saw this stuffed animal in the Disney store in New York city but again, I didn't buy him See a pattern here. It actually took me three years before I found a Steamboat Willie doll again. When I finally saw him, I was not letting him out of my sight. I really love the fact that he is Black & White as I feel that takes me back to the short even more.

Travelling Mickey

This Mickey actually serves quite an impressive role if I may say so myself. I don't if you guys have ever heard of this but this idea came to me when I was in South Dakota and I saw people taking pictures of the places they were visiting but they were putting either a rubber duckie or a troll doll in the picture. I thought that was pretty cool and I thought to myself I wanted to do that myself. So a few years later when I was at a discoutn Disney store on the way out of Vegas where I spent my 21st birthday. Which I have to thank my mom and dad for that awesome birthday present, I saw this guy and I thought the desgin look would work for the picutre idea. Thus, Travelling Mickey was born and he took his first trip was to The Florida Keys. Here is one of my favorite pictures from that trip and this was taken with an actual camera

This picture as taken at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville Don't worry he didn't get drunk How would he?

Timothy Q. Mouse

Now I do know that this picture is a bit blurry but I think you can make it out. As I said I had wanted Dumbo for a quite a while and here is the reason why.  It's no suprise by now that Timothy The Mouse is one of my favorite Disney characters. If only for teh fact we share a name but there is more to than that.  I saw this guy and I knew I wanted him. Again, pattern.  He has quickly taken up a special place. He is very awesome and important to me. Sure he may be small but who cares,  I just like the fact that I could actually find Timothy The Mouse merchandise as a lot of people I talk to about Dumbo, don't even remember him.

Mickey

Mickey is the oldest out of all the stuffed animals shown here. He has gone through quite a lot from having his tail falling off twice. He no longer has it but I still love him.  Mickey always makes me feel comfortable but for a while, I took him out of my life as I thought I was getting to old for stuffed animals.  Once I started having seizures though, he came back into my life. So whenever I have a seizure he is by my side. However, I have now been 3 years seizure free. That's right, I have been inactive for over three years and let's hope  I can stay that way.  Whenever I have a serious surgery, he is always with me. He even has his own scrubs for the surgeries.  That's how important he is to me.  I'm not afraid to admit that he has place on my bed either. That's just how much he means to me. He is basically my equivalent of Woody from Toy Story. The way Andy felt about Woody is how I feel about Mickey Only difference, no little girl is getting Mickey unless it's my future daughter.

I hope you guys enjoyed this very personal article. Tell me, what were some stuffed animals or other things in your life that hold a special place in your heart. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
